Irregular verbs are verbs that do not follow the rules of
regular tense changes. Instead of adding –ed to the end of the verb to make it
past tense, irregular verbs change letters of the verb to form the past tense
verb. Here are some examples of irregular verbs:

Irregular verbs also don’t follow the regular rule for the
